Rentcarx offers mules and small island vehicles for exploring San Andrés, with local assistance before and during your rental. We operate with a valid National Tourism Registry and have an office at Unisanandrés Shopping Center.
We rented a mule for four days and it was great. On the last day we had an issue and Esmeralda, the owner, came to help us. We were not charged anything extra, our deposit was returned without any problems, and they also let us change one of our rental days. Highly recommended.
The owner gives you all the information you need, including a map, and you can call if you run into any issue. The vehicles are automatic, with no clutch—just forward, neutral and reverse—so they are very easy to drive.
Really nice experience. The vehicles handle the whole island well. Excellent service, and they also give you a map with recommended tourist spots, places to stop and places to eat. I recommend renting on two different days to enjoy the route.

In San Andrés, “mule” and “mulita” are local terms commonly used for open tourist vehicles used to explore the island. Rentcarx offers options for 2 to 6 people, depending on availability.
Current options include smaller vehicles from COP 300,000 per day and 4- to 6-seat mules generally ranging from COP 380,000 to COP 450,000, depending on the model and capacity. The final price depends on your dates and rental duration.
There are options for 2, 4 and 6 people. Two-seat vehicles work well for couples, while 4- and 6-seat mules are convenient for families and groups who want to explore San Andrés together.
The available vehicles are automatic, with no clutch, and use a simple forward, neutral and reverse selector, which makes them easy to operate.
We coordinate delivery in San Andrés to your hotel, guesthouse, airport or another agreed location, and we also arrange pickup when the rental ends. Our office is at Av. Duarte Blum, Unisanandrés Shopping Center, Local 19.
Yes. You can check availability for your dates and secure your vehicle before you travel, so your transportation is already arranged when you arrive on the island.
It depends on your group size. Two-seat vehicles are practical for couples, four-seat mules work well for small families, and six-seat options help larger groups stay together while exploring the island.
If you already know your travel dates, it is best to check availability early, especially during busy seasons, because each vehicle can only be reserved by one group at a time.
Check your dates, choose the capacity you need and secure your mule before arriving on the island.
